Our travel plans for 2020 didn’t go as we expected but let’s hope everything gets back to normal while we all stay at our homes maintaining distance from each other. Even if we are not able to travel to our dream destination, for now, we can still plan a perfect trip. While I was making a list of places, I wanted to visit, and I made sure the list is diverse and covers everything I have been longing to see. Here are my top 5 places to visit in 2020 for a unique experience.
After months of self-isolation, the first place to visit should be a serene island to let out all the frustration built up by uncertainty. Santorini has so much to offer including picturesque lava cliffs, sublime sunset and the whole town of Oia. Some of the must-visit places include the Kamari beach, Amoudi bay, Ancient Thira, red beach and ancient Akrotiri.
Tokyo is the liveliest city of Japan and a great vacation destination for those who love the hustle of cities. The top attraction includes Meiji Jingu Shrine, Edo-Tokyo Museum, Ueno Park and Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa. Tokyo has a wide range of amusement park and a very happening nightlife. The city has everything we expect from a metropolitan city.
Loire Valley, France
The Lorie valley of France is jam-packed with exquisite castles reflecting Romanesque and Gothic architecture. The most magnificent palaces include Chateaux de Chambord, Villandry, Chateaux de Amboise and Chenonceau. Not only this, but the world-class wine produced in the wineries of Loire valley is also another great attraction in the city. The beautiful landscape with a delicious wine is a perfect combination.
Los Angeles, USA
The beautiful city of Los Angeles is the center of the film, television, and music industry. Not only this, but Los Angeles also offers a diverse experience as it homes the most beautiful museums, unique hotels, and multicultural societies and 75 miles of stunning coastline. In Short, LA is all about fun, food, fashion, and culture. If you are in the U.S., you certainly can’t miss the center of entertainment.
Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya
Kenya is safari heaven and the best place to come close to the wild face of nature. The country has several national reserves which are home to swamping wildebeests, huge elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs and stunning flamingos. Witnessing the striking equatorial peaks, beautiful caves, hot springs and geysers is a once in a lifetime experience.
